The Habitat Americana line was specifically designed to look rustic and handmade. Each piece is handpainted with visible brushstrokes and some color variation. Packed in the original box with retro printed design. The item has been stored in a retail showroom warehouse for several years, so the box shows some wear, especially on the corners. There may be a sticker mark, discoloration, or minor creasing. The box is still in great condition for gift-giving. Nothing is quite as recognizable as the iconic look of a 50s diner. We immediately think of frosty chocolate malts, juicy cheeseburgers, and hot fruit pie, with our favorite songs playing in the jukebox. This sugar and creamer set features the soda fountain, the heart of the diner. It has teal bar stools, pink boomerang countertop, and metallic chrome trim on the fountain. The places are set with a giant slice of cake and a tall ice cream sundae. Behind the counter, a pair of shelves stores stacked plates and an urn of hot coffee. This piece has the fine quality and feel of a Fitz and Floyd ceramic collectible. It is glazed inside. The lids rest gently on the bases with no seal.
