Description: 1 pair of original Smith and Wesson grips. These came from a model 686, but fit a variety of K/L frame models, from what I can tell. I believe they also call these Goncalo Alves grips, but I'm not sure on the distinction there, so up to you. These are 'project quality' and need some help; overall there don't appear to be any serious cracks in the main body, so these are functional, if very rough as-is. There's quite a lot of small dings on the butt on each side, a large piece missing from the left panel near the butt, and a not-insignificant gouge in the checkering on the left side as well. The right side is in better shape physically, but does appear to be somewhat sun-faded toward the rear. The attachment screw and nut are in good shape. These might be a good fit if you want a project to work on, say putting together a cowboy gun that has seen quite a few miles, if you just want to salvage the medallions, or something like refitting a modified S&W back to stock on a budget. Photos show all; because of the condition these are in these are offered as-is with no returns.
