Signed 14.5” John Davis Studio Art Pottery Hand Sculpted Floral Inlay OOAK Vase

Description: This listing is for a signed John Davis studio one of a kind floral inlay vase, featuring John’s signature take on the landscape of the Chihuahuan Desert, inspired by the subtle colors of a wild desert. While this unique piece is quite stunning, it is not perfect. There are glaze scrapes on one side, and a chip on the base; all shown in the last three photos. This finely decorated piece measures 14.5” high x 8” and is signed by Davis. Davis’ inlaid vases are made from slabs pressed into molds made from actual flowers and leaves. The vases are hand-formed, dried slowly, and then painted with colorful underglazes before firing for the first time. To give it an aged look, the vase is washed with a rich dark stain, and delicate details are air and hand brushed before firing again. Take a look at the photos for any and all condition issues.
