Offered: one pair of pre-owned , SiDi SHOT Carbon Vent mens road shoes, size 48 Euro ( bottoms of soles are engraved " 48" as all Sidi shoes soles only show the whole size, but Sidi stops doing half sizing at the 46.5 mark. Most people say these fit between 12.5 and 13 medium width , but it's Sidi Italian sizing, and the lower end size 12.5 is more realistic (a size 47 is closer to 12 US).. The outer tongues size markings have been rubbed off from wear. Sidi didn't make the SHOT in a wide (Mega) or slim version. See last picture for the Sidi shoe size chart , to give you a better idea of how Sidi sizes there shoes the last 10 years. Shoes can mount any 3-bolt cleat , for LOOK, Time, Shimano SL pedals), in Techpro Hi-Vis with black mesh. Perfect for year long riding. Please double make sure this size is for you. Condition wise, I'd say these shoes are cosmetically in Fair++ / low Good condition, and functionally they are Very-good. Please read my condition rating chart below, but Good- Very-good condition isn't close to "like new" or Excellent. The main condition mark on these shoes is the scuffs, chips, and scratches on the Toe-tips (see pictures # 8-9 ), purely cosmetic...and could be touched up with some type of bonding material to further protect /layer (black in color maybe, to blend into sole /black mesh). Right shoe inner heel /edge side has fabric wear from taking shoes on/off with thumb, see picture #10-11 , show the area well. Light marks /rubs on inner/outer front sides of shoes (minor /purely cosmetic). Carbon Vent sole has scratches /scuffs , but nothing major to note that would affect sole integrity , all cosmetic in nature. Replaceable rubber heel pads have about 40% rubber remaining ( a $8-12 replaceable part) . Cleat threads have been re-greased, and good to go. Shoes are fully functional, all push buckles function fine. Shoes come with lightly used red aftermarket insoles (not pictured). Please see pictures. Condition rating scale:*New: never used*Like new: used on 1-2 rides, cosmetically and functionally perfectly fine, close to new but not quite. *Excellent: used, no major condition marks (i.e. no cuts in the fabric) and fully functional (no missing parts), possibly 1-2 minor condition marks, not quite like new.*Very Good: used, a few minor cosmetic condition marks (i.e. scrapes/scratches on bottom of sole, toe and side of shoe are has minor rubs/scuffing), however condition marks do not affect functionality of the shoes to be tools for your feet, fully functional otherwise. Tons of life left in them, but not perfect cosmetically *Good: used, a step down from a very-good condition shoe, in that there may be one major condition mark, and several cosmetic condition marks (i.e. worn sole from walking/general riding, scrapes/scuffing of the outer shoe material, cosmetic small details that are imperfections caused by usage and/or came from the shoe factory that way, etc), however shoes are fully functional in every way. Lots of life left in the shoes, but not perfect cosmetically.*Fair: : well used and they show it cosmetically, higher usage of wear to the soles, possibly one rip of the fabric on the interior and/or exterior. Usually 1+ major condition marks ( rip(s) / cut(s) on the uppers). Several cosmetic condition marks. Otherwise, shoes are still functional to be used. *Poor: : very well used, several condition marks (mainly at least one tear/rip in the outer and inner fabric of the shoe), and possibly not functional to some degree (a buckle and/or strap missing, heal pad missing, etc). Shoes need to be overhauled with 1+ new/used parts to make them functional again. _____________***************************______________________*******************************___________________*************** *Side note: white shoes tend to exhibit wear (mainly cosmetic condition wear) at a higher rate then other colors. Depending upon the shoe, if there is white plastics used it will eventually slightly yellow (and possibly get darker in yellow color), no matter if you ride in the rain, or if it is a fair weather riding shoe (the sun does chemically change the composition / pigment of the plastics (certain grade of plastic this will affect, but not all plastics), and accelerates the color pigment of white/clear plastic by turning it yellow. This goes for all manufactures, Sidi, Shimano, Specialized, Diadora, etc. Please be aware of that before bidding, and for future long term care of your shoes. **Side info: Well taken care of cycling shoes can/ do last 5+ years (in some cases, road shoes 10+ years), unlike street shoes. Take care of your shoes, and your shoes will take care of your feet. A properly fit cycling shoe is the #1 best performance move that you can make on your body for three main reasons : 1. The right shoe will help lesson the effects of the foot/pedal contact pressure point on the bike while riding. The proper sized/fit shoe will increase your comfort factor while riding. 2. Given the above #1 , your foot heath will increase = your health is your wealth. 3. In regards to energy transmission while pedaling, the right shoe will increase ones wattage /power transmission to the pedals, thus your efficiency on the bike will increase. Find the right shoe / pedal combination, and you'll majorly step up your game on the bicycle. Sizing information: See last picture for Sidi shoe size chart.
