Description: Sheaffer Imperial III Touchdown Pen RESTORED 2 Toned Palladium Silver – Gold Mask Nib - Fine Description: Offered is a beautiful Burgundy Restored and Working Sheaffer Imperial III Touchdown Fountain Pen. 2 Tone Palladium Silver- Gold Mask Nib – Fine. Filling is by touchdown plunger. Pull the plunger up, insert into ink, and then down to fill etc. The pen has been restored via disassembly with a new “O” ring installed. Sac has been talced, and silicone grease applied to plunger and “O” ring. The Touchdown works properly. The Pen has been ultrasonically cleaned, flushed and tested. The pen writes very well, and is in excellent working order. See photo. Cap and barrel have been polished and appear lustrous. The Pen has Waterman’s Serenity Blue ink installed. The pen is not personalized. Measures 5 1/4 inches capped. Condition: The pen has been restored via disassembly with a new “O” ring installed. The pen is in very good cosmetic condition with normal minor grazing. Cap and Barrel appear lustrous. History: “The Imperial III is the upscale version of the design offered in the Imperial II.
