Description: I am a retired teacher/professor and I am looking for a good home for my well loved texts. I’m not pricing these to make money, just trying to get them to somebody who might use them. From my shelf to your shelf comes those annoying study notes from the fine people of SparkNotes and CliffsNotes. Maybe you’d like to use these to help you decide what to share with your students; maybe you’d like to just know what your students are looking at before they’re writing your papers — seeing what they may be accessing helps you decide if perhaps they’ve been getting a little too much help with their essays by copying what others have said. Both volumes look new from the outside, with no bent pages no creases in the covers and no problems with the bindings. Inside the front cover of both you’ll find I have written my name. The SparkNotes text has about a dozen pages with my underlines; the CliffsNotes has far more underlining in it. Instead of seeing that as a distraction, consider them to be helpful hints from a man who has been teaching him look for years. Indeed there may be a method to those maddening underlines. Or not … Have also added in Hamlet: Poem Unlimited, by Harold Bloom. It’s a 156 page discussion of Hamlet which looks specifically at each of the characters in a way that only Bloom can. The other books this one has a few underlining in pen throughout the book. And last, but not least you have blooms guides: conference of research and study guides for Hamlet. This is a hardcover book with site signs of aging on the cover, and a few pages have been underlined, see the picture attached. So if you’re planning on teaching Hamlet this year, here’s a grab bag of information that might help you get planning. For just a few bucks, why not give them a look?
