Description: Item pictured is shown wet, outdoors without camera flash. Flaw highlighted in last images - unhealed fracture. Unhealed fracture shown dry in last photos, both sides. Many close up photos of both sides taken so you can inspect the stone - there are healed fractures. Measurements are as shown in photos, taken from widest point. You will receive the item shown in the pictures. This listing is for a rough slab of Serape Lace Agate or Serape Jasper from Mexico. It is considered a variation of crazy lace and it is an agate - not a jasper. Serape jasper gets it's name from the Mexican Serape blanket. This is an older piece obtained from a lapidary/collector. It's got warm browns, rusts, orange, and light colors, pretty banding, areas of fortification, and even some mossy looking areas. Typical of crazy laces, it does contain some healed fractures. There is also an unhealed fracture - see last 2 dry images for details. (both sides) A piece of this size is best used for lapidary, though it's pretty enough it can be polished and used as a display. Dimensions are approximately 5" x 3.5" (see photos) and 5.55mm thick. Please note this is in an unpolished piece. Weighs 110.7 grams. Items will ship within 1-2 business days. Please ask if you have any questions or need better photos. Thank you! *Please note - While we don't accept returns on items sold, we do want you to be happy with your purchase.
