Description: Up for auction is a Sears Silvertone 1430 Amplifier 2.3 Watt 6" Speaker 3 Tubes. Amp has been Re-Capped, has no hum. Amp gets loud and breaks up nicely at higher volumes. When I first received the amp, the speaker sounded blown so I cut the wires from the speaker and replaced with a new speaker. It still sounded blown with the new speaker so that led me to replace the capacitors and put back the original speaker which is why the wires are spliced together at the speaker. Now the amp sounds great again.
