Description: Seabury Book of Common Prayer BCP 1928 Protestant Episcopal Leather 3253 This is a rather worn and compact Book of Common Prayer according to the 1928 edition for use in the Protestant Episcopal church. This is a lovely little compact edition for on the go devotion. Please look at the certification page if that is important to you. Finding a red copy is a feat, also! The language of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer truly is remarkable and worthy of at least investigation for those desiring to enrich their life in prayer and worship. The typeface is highly readable, especially considering its size. This is aided by superior paper quality than what you will find in modern editions. The pictures make this abundantly clear. The single column format is beautiful! The page edge gilding has general wear with small scratches throughout. The text block is a little relaxed and it was clearly used consistently, if gently. The binding is likely imitation leather. Because it was used, the leather is still relatively flexible. There is a general wear and aging to the book with some abrasions to the edges and hinges.
