This is a very good used condition bowl in the Blue Strawflower pattern (non-scalloped) made by Schumann China, Bavaria. Dating is determined by the makers mark which I can best place 1940s-1950s. The dish is free of cracks, chips, crazing of the glaze or repairs that I can find. The hand painted decoration is even and complete. The strawflower design was produced by multiple makers in Germany. Coordinates perfectly with many Winterling or Tettau products of the same pattern, for example. The dish is well marked as shown in the photos. I have a matching platter and serving bowl in the pattern that will be listed separately.
