Description: Stunning and unique spiny oyster shell choker necklace with a mosaic inlay of turquoise, onyx (or jet), and white shell. The spiny oyster shell is attached to a leather band hand beaded with white olive shells. The choker’s closure is braided string. Excellent vintage condition with some minor issues. The shell has a very small chip on the back right edge (circled in pictures) that is not visible from the front. A few spots at the top edge of the leather band have purple discoloration, which is dye from the string used to attach the olive shells. No damage to or missing olive shells. The spiny oyster shell is 2.25” long x 2” wide. The leather band is approx. 14.5” long and the string on either side of the band is approx. 6.5” long. Total length from end to end is approx. 27.5”.
