Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Vintage Handcock & Rubin biscuit card from the mid 1930s, card #219 Richard Tauber. Small real photo on a light stock measures approximately 1-1/4" X 2-1/4 inches but with quite a bit of variance from card-to-card or listing-to-listing--measurements may be off by as much as a quarter-inch each way, as the factory cuts on these are very sloppy. South African issue. Text on back reads as follows: "Sold by Handcock & Rubin (Pyt) Limited, 11, Waterkant Street, Cape Town." This sale is for the one card in the title and pictured above. GRADING - CONDITION: Grades EX+ or 6/10 with light general wear; some silvering to real photo surface. No creasing. I'm seeing sloppy factory cuts throughout this set, so be sure to have a look at centering on this specific card. Scans show both sides of actual card for sale.
