An original antique piece from the 1910s to 1930s with brass Benjamin pull chain socket cluster and a cast iron base by Exco. The base is heavy and sturdy, which makes this a great lamp for a stained glass / slag glass shade, or other shade of your choice. :) The pull chain end balls are stamped with a patent date of 1911. The brass has been polished, the sockets cleaned, rewired, polished and tested, and the ORIGINAL PAINT on the lamp has been lacquered to preserve it for its next lifetime to come. The colors are gold and green, and the amazing details include lion heads in the center of the lamp, griffins / dragons or swans near the base, and lions or tigers on the base. No cracks or chips in the cast iron base and detail pieces or the brass pole. The brass sockets have normal hairline splits in the brass, but nothing that affects the use or will be noticed when covered by a shade. The lamp uses 2 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like. Bulbs not included.
