Description: Repurposed Gorget/Pendant, 2 1/2" x 1 7/16", broken Woodland gorget used as a pendant after being broken, both edges of the broken end are polished smooth, proving it was used as a pendant after breakage (see last photo). BEAUTIFULLY made and very symmetrical. Clean, crisp edges. Thin, perfect, except for the break! Great biconical drilling. Dark slate with cream colored streaks, horizontal on one side, vertical on the other, very cool! Each side has darker spots where old stickers were, one rectangle, one circular, I haven't tried to remove glue or clean the piece at all. No brainer authentic. Anyone recognize what old collection this came from please let me know! Guaranteed ancient and unaltered for life. I am a 25 year plus member of CSAS, GRAS and GIRS archaeological societies. Fast shipping, will combine whenever possible. Any questions or more photos please message. Thanks for looking!
