Rare Vintage RENOIR Copper Bold Modernist Geometric Necklace, Renoir Necklace

Description: Vintage copper necklace by Renoir in a rare style featuring bold modernist geometric links with rows of rectangular sections spaced with alternating cutout sections for a checkerboard design. Good vintage condition, some tarnish on the back of the necklace and some light scratching and dark areas where the shiny Copron finish has worn on the front of the links. Measures just under 3/4" wide and 17 1/4" long including the 7 1/2" extender chain and hook clasp (length is adjustable from 13 1/4" to 17 1/4". Weighs 54 grams (1.9 ounces). Signed "(c) Renoir" (1954-1964).
