True vintage Borsalino Open Road style fedora...Reminiscent of the Open Road fedoras of the period with its narrow ribbon-bound brim and about 3 inch bound brim... 100% blend of hare and wild rabbit fur felt ...a nice feature of these vintage western fedoras. Nicely well preserved and looks to have its original excellent cattleman shape...see all pics.. This Borsalino presents beautifully....I don't see any major issues; .....I don't see any mothing or dryness...the felt is soft and nice..it does have some light patina and minor wrinkling associated with age... it might benefit with some steam to smooth it out... Considering it is quite old- -it presents beautifully... ...It is attractive and light patina adds to the charm and authenticity of this rare BorsalinoAll in all-very nice condition-some pics taken in different lighting....see all pics...color may be darker in less light.. ...This is a classic western fedora hat; - about 3 inch bound brim.....Tall crown is about -4 1/2 to 5 inches formed... ....; see pics..The felt is very good-and in good soft condition... ; the original sweatband and liner are in nice good clean condition; ...the liner is loose and occasionally needs to be put right...sweatband is good but a bit dry and has some edgewear...see all pics...
