Description: This is an Addiesdive model AD2026 watch that been modified with a Sea-gull ST1812 movement and GS-style hands. The ST1812 is a super-thin, premium movement designed to the specifications of the 2892A2 with sweeping seconds hand that ticks at a smooth 8 times per second or 28,800 beats per minute, the same as the vast majority of Swiss luxury watches. This is a brand-new watch that started out as an Addiesdive model AD2026 with a TMI VH31 quartz movement and a case that is slim enough to take full advantage of the thinness of the 2892A2 specification and with all the refinements worthy of a premium, high-beat movement: thin polished bezel, sleek lugs with polished tops and polished sides, and a high-dome sapphire crystal with AR-coating, all combined with a high-quality, all-brushed stainless steel oyster bracelet with 100% milled dual-button deployant clasp. The original quartz movement (VH31) was removed, and the new high-beat automatic movement (ST1812) was added using a custom-designed movement holder to the exact specifications of the case. The original hands were also replaced with a GS-style handset with blued seconds hand that more closely resembled the original watch (SBGR261) that the AD2026 is paying homage to. NOTE: Unlike some no-date watches that just use a standard movement with date complication and three crown positions, this watch has only two crown positions: winding position and time-setting/hacking position. There is no risk of damaging this movement through the unintentional quick-setting of a hidden date wheel while the time is in the "danger zone", as there is no date wheel nor a crown position to change the date the first place. The watch comes with the original box, original box inserts, and bracelet adjustment tool.
