Description: 1980s Bob Selby Pawtucket Red Sox Baseball Watercolor Painting This unique, rare Watercolor Painting depicts a Pawtucket Red Sox Player standing with one hand on his hip and glove out to catch the baseball which is in the shape of a heart!As you can see in the photographs this 16" by 17" Painting is signed "Selby" and is in excellent condition. It comes framed 20 3/4" by 22 1/4" matt and frame which has some light wear.Robert Selby of Maine was the Staff Artist of The Providence Journal from July 1976 - May 1996. Has a career as a professional illustrator and professor of art. Schools include Rhode Island School of Design, University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, Champlain College. Last post, adjunct professor a St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York.
