Description: RAM 6550B QUAD. Vintage Russian Audiophile Tubes. All Tested on TV7-D/U tester. These tubes were originally tested at RAM TUBE WORKS and re-tested at the Granite Audio Factory on a restored & calibrated TV7-D/U tube tester. They all test from 50 to 54 where a reading of 44 is a good tube. So, they are very strong. The original RAM test reading labels, by Roger Modieski, are clearly shown in the photos on the boxes, along with the tube’s serial numbers. You are buying four tubes with boxes as shown. I got these USED tubes from the original owner in 2001 and they haven’t been used since then. All the tubes are in their original boxes with matching serial numbers. The tubes are marked “Made in Russia” right on the tubes as shown in the photos. Considering markings and the vintage, they were probably made by Svetlana, as the 6550B was also their design. These tubes have the following TV7-D/U test readings, where a reading of 44 is a good tube. 53, 53, 53, 42As you can see, 3 of the tubes are matched and the 4th is below a good reading of 44.
