Description: A little rough around the edges but worth its’ salt! Original finish burr walnut that has aged to a warm hue. Thin wire nails have rusted into the wood. Burr walnut has a unique wavy and twisted grain pattern. Looks like swirls on the lid. (Picture 8). One side also shows the grain. (Picture 4) As found. Previous owner put glue around seams to keep it together. Needs a little TLC from someone with time to gently repair its’ wound.
