Description: A beautiful antique Edwardian 9k rose gold blue and white paste floral ring, dating to circa 1900. This very eye catching Edwardian solid 9k rose gold ring shows a beautiful flower centered with the most stunningly intense cornflower blue paste stone representing sapphire surrounded by old cut glowing white paste stones representing diamonds, the flower sits on the end of an elaborate 3-tier gate-type band with little zigzag decorated panels on the shoulders-a super pretty ring! The ring is marked '9CT' inside the band and tests for 9k gold. The ring is approximately a size 5 3/4. The ring measures about 10mm across the flower. The blue paste stone is about 5.5mm across and the white paste stones about 1.5-2mm across. The band is about +/- 4.6mm. The ring rises approximately 3mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.0 grams. The ring is in very good condition with general overall wear. Seen under a loupe there is a little wear to the paste stones, a few white ones have been replaced. The ring appears to have been resized-most of the evidence of this elaborate procedure is seen inside the back of the band where there also some tarnishing. Please check all the pictures.
