Description: Artist - Pink FloydTitle - Say Goodbye To Hollywood NEW CD (sealed)Extra Info DARK SIDE BROADCAST FROM FLOYD’S 1972 US TOUR • Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon Tour took place in 1972 and 1973 in support of their album of the same name, covering the UK, US, Europe and Japan. There were two separate legs promoting the album, one in 1972 before the release date and another in 1973 afterwards, together covering 128 shows. Following the European shows, recording began on The Dark Side of the Moon on 24 May 1972, beginning with basic backing tracks derived from the live versions. • The tour moved to the US in September. Engineer Alan Parsons was asked to run the front of house sound, setting a trend for Pink Floyd inviting studio personnel out on tour. On 22 September 1972, the group played the Hollywood Bowl, which featured eight powered searchlights beaming rays from behind the Bowl's amphitheatre. One of the few dates on the tour to be broadcast, the show was transmitted live on FM Radio and is now available in its entirety on this new 2CD set.Track ListingDisc: 11Breathe2On the Run3Time4Breathe Reprise5The Great Gig in the Sky6Money7Us and Them8Any Colour You Like9Brain Damage10Eclipse11One of These Days12Careful With That Axe, EugeneDisc: 21Echoes2A Saucerful of Secrets3Set the Controls for the Heat of the Sun
