Description: Sadly, the time has come to downsize so I will be selling some of my favorite collections. Since Christmas is coming, I am starting with the Department 56 Alpine Village series. I have collected these over many years, but only displayed this one behind glass a couple of times. I am the original owner. Today's piece is called "FEDERBETTEN UND STEPPDECKEN." It features the store that sells featherbeds and quilts. Note the feather hanging from the front of the store. I am very careful with my collection, so although one of the older pieces, this set is still in like new condition. Released in 1998 and retired in 2001, it comes in its original box and styrofoam packaging. The light, which is included, has never been used. I used a spare light for the photo. The box sleeve corners are showing a little wear from age and storage. The trees in the background are not included in the sale.
