Description: Over the Rockies to the Top of the World on the Denver and Salt Lake Railroad (Moffat Road): A Descriptive View Book in Colors reproducting from actual photographs the most prominent views on the Denver and Salt Lake Railroad (Moffat Road). This is one of several railroad view books we recently acquired, this one has integrated color rather than paste-down color prints of views from the railroad that were sold mainly to railroad passenger in the early 20th Century. This one was published for the Denver & Salt Lake Railroad in 1906 by Barkalow Brothers in Omaha, NE. 31 full page color prints with paragraph descriptions and 2 smaller prints on the title page and a paste-down print on the front cover. This hard to find string-bound book is in fair condition. Prints are in good condition with a few pages having small corner creases. Tissue protecting the title page is creased and cover is soiled and chipped, torn and creased on its edges. Undated but research suggest a 1917 publication date. _gsrx_vers_1680 (GS 9.8.3 (1680))
