OUR FAMILY SERVICE RECORD IN THE GREAT WORLD WAR BOOK

Description: For sale is an extremely rare copy of Our Family Service Record in the Great World War. This was a book issued to service man Daniel French by the "Employees War Service Bureau of the Great Western Sugar Company as a token of appreciation for victorious service rendered to his country and ia emblem of gratitude for his safe return to us." The books stated purpose was "to provide a simple and practical means of preserving the individual War Records of the gallant Sons of this great Republice who. . . " The pages of the book are un written upon and appear in excellent condition. There are a couple of spots on the outside back of the book that need to be cleaned. The top left portion of the inside of the back of the hard cover is missing some paper with a cooresponding liquid stain on the opposite page. The corners are beginning to round.
