On the back of the print there is a stamp corresponding to the lower left corner of the recto that reads "Oxford bookshop" in a circle around the image of a bull. Pietro Ruga (c.1772 - 1850) was an Italian engraver, printmaker, architectural draftsman and cartographer active in the first quarter of the 19th century. Measurements: 17 1/4 x 21 1/2 inches Condition: Good condition. Paper is still quite white. Some stains and foxing in margins, small tears and creases on borders.
