This football game between the Washington Huskies and the Idaho Vandals was played on Sept. 17, 1955 in Seattle, Washington at University of Washington Stadium (Husky Stadium). There are a total of twenty-eight (28) numbered pages in this Washington Sideliner program, not including both covers. Complete rosters for both teams are present inside the program. Head coach for the Huskies: John Cherberg; leading the Vandals was Skip Stahley (former Husky coach). There's a fine feature on the "History of Washington Football, 1892-1954". Many outstanding player photos are included for both gridiron teams. The Idaho Vandals campus is pictured (3 photos, including Neale Stadium). Washington junior halfback Jim Thomas is featured in a two-page spread (see pic). The inside of the back cover pictures an advertisement for Seattle's "The Colony" lounge and bar; pictured are Johnny Wittwer (piano) and singer "Suzuki" in her American singing premier. <>Condition: this vintage football program is in very *Fine Shape* overall, showing a minimum of age/handling faults!
