PEACOCK BROOM Co., NOS ... a vintage full handle ~54" new old stock peacock broom made in Italy looks like from the '40s or '50s. In vintage condition, for display, not functional due to brittle straw. Minimal signs of wear including one part of the broom at the top of the bristles where the stick connects is some metal wrap which has some rust on it see pics. Also the label has a crack in it and something missing, see pics. It is a very attractive broom and when I had it outside the birds were flying around me, I'm not quite sure why but I think they want the straw since it's cold out. They didn't fly away ... It was like I was in a Disney movie. Great display or prop. WHITE VELVET TAFFETA CAPE 1970s pattern style Vogue Paris Original From center back collar to hem measures approximately 51 or 52 inches. Shawl oriented over the shoulder. Neck loop closure. Sewn in label by the unknown person who created this beautiful work of art/clothing/cape. Drape yourself in velvet with this luxurious white cream cape with taffeta cream lining and silver metallic and what looks like silk embroidery but I don't know any of the fabric/material details. This item is handmade and pre-owned with minimal signs of wear. I have not had it pressed so I'm not sure about the alignment of the taffeta lining and outer velvet.
