Description: A great old 1900’s vintage post civil war era tin cup. I had 3 cups at the time of listing so the pictures are representative of the condition of the cupThis cup was found within 25 miles of Gettysburg Pa. It could have been in a local store right after the time the war was raging in the surrounding fields.The bottom is raised and not flat so it is post civil war era.It has achieved a nice color from storage that will display well. There is very light rust spots inside but no holes. There are no holes through the tin.There are a few tiny dents or dingsClose examination shows how it was made in the old days and it is no modern remake.The handle tab is NOT soldered through to the inside at the base of the side seam.All the seams are crimped and not soldiered that I can seeMade from tin in the early 1900’s. The original tin has aged nicely and the shine has mostly come off.I don’t know if it is clean enough to drink from but that is your decision.
