Oil Hand Lamp c.1890s EAPG Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton Glass Teardrop Eyewinker

Description: "Teardrop with eyewinker & plain font" (Thuro, Volume 1, page 250). Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton c.1892 introductionTotal height is 6.5".No cracks. There is small chipping on the bottom of the foot. Ebling collar (Did not use plaster). There is one age split and the beginnings of others. Collar is still usable but can be moved. The lamp reacts in 365nm True UV blacklight showing presence of manganese (Will not produce a glow in novelty blacklight, must be a 365nm). It is not uranium glass. There is a defect line/swirl in the glass on the interior of the font from manufacturing (See last photo). This is not damage and does not affect use of the lamp. This is an estate item and is therefore sold as is. Please view all photos before purchasing. We photograph items as-is and do not touch up/edit.
