Description: This is an original GM cast iron intake manifold for a Small Block Chevy engine. This intake will fit all Small Block Chevy intake manifolds from 1955-1986. The casting number is 3732690. The casting date is L 5 56 which decodes as December 5th, 1956. The 3711348 intake manifold was used by Chevrolet on the following applications: 1957 Chevrolet 283 engine with 2 barrel carburetor. This is a real deal factory 2 barrel intake that was only used by the factory for one year. Don't miss this hard to find factory intake manifold. This intake is in good original condition as shown. I see no breaks, repairs, or modifications to this intake. The casting number, casting date, and firing order castings are all intact and undisturbed. All threads are in good condition with no helicoils, or thread inserts. There is no major corrosion or porting. The 2 remaining carb studs are getting quite thin in the center and should probably be replaced. The underside of the intake is also in good shape. The heat shield on the bottom is intact.
