The overall quality of the design is quite professional. The smooth rim is accented by gold. The back of the plate is the high white of the porcelain. CONDITION: While this plate is classified as used, its condition is superb. We can find no defects or damage. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, rubbings, crazing or hairlines. There is no wear to the paint or to the gold on the rim. There is same very light, minor scratching, probably due to plate stacking. See the photos. DIMENSIONS: The plates have a diameter of 8 1/8" and a height of 5/8". HISTORY/MARKS: We could find no information about the NewHall Staffordshire Company. We think these are relatively new and are not related to the New Hall Porcelain of Staffordshire, England. We estimate these to be circa 1980's.
