There is minor scuffing to the covers and wear to the spine. There are no bookplates, ink names, pen/pencil notations, or similar flaws. This souvenir book contains iconic images of the 1939–1940 New York World's Fair, held at Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York. It was the second-most expensive American world's fair of all time, exceeded only by St. Louis's Louisiana Purchase Exposition of 1904. Many countries around the world participated, and over 44 million people attended the exhibits in two seasons.
