Description: Built in 1950 EMD GP-7 was built on order for the New York Central Railroad and spent its life as #5601 running in the midwest Ohio and Michigan areas. It lived into the ConRail days.Here is the original builders plate and a Bob Lorenz photo of it at Collingwood Ohio in 1967. Lots of other photos are out there and I believe an HO or N scale model exists.
