Description: New, grip in plastic, 1998 Scotty Cameron Gold Fitting Convention Copper Newport Putter, 1 of 130 made with Headcover. Putter is 35 inches in length with a carbon steel head finished in copper. The head is the same as the 1998 Scotty Cameron Oil Can Newport, as the Oil Can Newport putters were the only Newport Putters with Cameron on both sides of the neck. That makes this copper Newport putter scarcer/rarer than the 1996/500 Copper Newport as there are 500 of them. The 1996/500 used the Classic Newport Head. Putter has all the same characteristics (loft, lie, weight) as the 1998 Oil Can Newport putter other than it has a copper plated finish vice an oil can. Another difference is the mill marks on the putters' faces. The Oil Can Newport has more circular shallow mill marks to the Copper Newport's slightly deeper more angular.
