This company was located in the Hot Creek Mining District in Rattlesnake Canyon and was created just after Belmont became a town. It was noted in the Engineering and Mining Journal, Volume 25, 1878, that it was not worth buying stock for the price it was offered due to a lack of "sufficient development."
