Description: The photo of Davey is an 8.5” x 11” Driver Stat Card distributed by Texaco Havoline Racing. It is autographed by Davey Allison with a gold-paint autograph pen. It is in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. Unframed. The model car is a 1/64 scale replica of Cale’s 1988 Oldsmobile, signed with a black Sharpie. In 1986 Yarborough purchased Jack Beebe's Race Hill Farm team, renaming the team Cale Yarborough Motorsports and running a part-time schedule in 1987 and 1988. During the 1988 season, Yarborough split time in the No. 29 car with Dale Jarrett, who took over full-time in 1989 following Yarborough's retirement. David “Davey” Carl Allison (February 25, 1961 – July 13, 1993). Born in Hollywood, Florida, he was the son of NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison and the nephew of Donnie Allison. Davey Allison’s breakthrough came in 1987 when he took over for legendary driver Cale Yarborough in Ranier-Lundy’s Ford Thunderbird. He drove the No. 28 Texaco-Havoline Ford for Robert Yates Racing and achieved significant success. Davey Allison won 19 NASCAR Winston Cup races, claimed 14 poles, and won over six million dollars before his career was cut short by a helicopter crash in 1993. William Caleb "Cale" Yarborough (March 27, 1939 – December 31, 2023) was an American NASCAR Winston Cup Series driver and owner, businessman, farmer, and rancher. He was one of only two drivers in NASCAR history to win three consecutive championships, winning in 1976, 1977, and 1978. He was one of the preeminent stock car drivers from the 1960s to the 1980s and also competed in IndyCar events. His 83 wins tie him with Jimmie Johnson for sixth on the all-time NASCAR Cup Series winner's list (behind Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip, who are tied for fourth with 84).
