Description: M1895 Forage cap for Co. B of the 8th Infantry. This cap is stamped B. Y. Pippey & Co. Contract of May 1898 on the underside of the sweatband. This piece is really nice. Has an old glue repair on the sweatband in the front. No mothing. Has a very old Odd Fellows screw back pin on the strap. Have not removed nor will I. I will leave that up to the buyer's discretion. Insignia is also screw back. Feel free to ask any questions or for more pics. See pics, sold as is.
