Description: Nice early Springfield Armory 1/41 barrel. TE=2+, MW=4. Marked D-35448-4 D-4-D-4K, S-A 1-41. Bore is bright and shiny at the chamber end lightly frosted at muzzle. Pictures of the bore don't do it justice. No imports marks. Nice dark finish. Has some pitting on the surface that would be under the front handguard. Area where lower band sits has been peened for tighter fitment. Would be great for an early build or a direct conversion of a gas trap receiver.
