These are from the first edition of "British Game Birds and Wildfowl" published by Groombridge & Sons, London 1855. Great examples of Benjamin Fawcett's wonderful bird illustrations in the original unfolded larger format that should not be confused with the smaller prints by Beverley's brother (Rev. F.O.Morris) or the many reproductions available. Frames have been beat up quite a bit from being moved around it appears. Each one has pretty heavy, deep gouges and scratches. However, prints have remained undisturbed since framing. Prints will be shipped as is with frames included or they can be removed from the frames if buyer prefers.
