Beaton's Bargain by Mrs. Alexander Overall fair condition: • Cover: loose with heavy wear, see pictures • Spine: heavy wear, see pictures • Pages: age marks/brown spots, water marks, folded corners and small tears. Many pages are clean though very dark. Old Mortality: significant tearing in the back (starting with last page and glossary/index sections only) and some sections of index pages missing. Title page is detached and frayed along the edges.
