It is designed to resembled a metal stamped piece with a pitted effect. It was 3d printed in PLA plastic filament and is sturdy yet light weight at under 10 oz. You may see some fine lines from the 3D printing, which is normal. The back side is unpainted to make it easier to hang on the wall with hanging tape and there is a nail hole on the backside as well.
