The musical revue opened in NYC on 08/27/34 and ran for 237 performances. The cast includes Bert Lahr, Ray Bolger, Luella Gear, Frances Williams, Brian Donlevy, Dixie Dunbar, Earl Oxford, Josephine Huston, Ofelia & Pemento, Esther Junger, Winifred Harris, James MacColl, Adrienne Matzenauer, Grena Sloan, Sally Gibbs, Frances Comstock, Ethel Thorsen and Anya Taranda. Music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by Ira Gershwin and E.Y. Harburg and sketches by David Freedman, Allan Baxter, H.I. Phillips, George S. Kaufman, Frank Gabrielson and Harry Smith. Staged by John Murray Anderson, directed by Philip Loeb and choreographed by Robert Alton. This program contains different sketches and a different order than the NYC program. The program is complete. This is NOT a reproduction!! Note: This is a regular size Playbill type program. Condition is good with surface wear including a vertical and horizontal fold.
