Description: Large French Ovington Bros Porcelain & Mother of Pearl Bronze Gilt Trinket Box Beautiful large French elaborate floral and scrollwork bronze gilt wood lined trinket box. With small oval porcelain in the center of the lid with a hand painted courting couple scene framed in a bronze gilt floral design. Mother of pearl inlaid top. Made for Ovington Brothers in New York, with the original Ovington sticker on the bottom. Circa 1900. Has some wear and tarnish, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 6 5/8 inches long x 4 1/8 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. ER AX
