Description: KOCH LOWY Modern Brass Adjustable Task Reading Floor Lamp Pharmacy Banker MCM For your consideration is this classic vintage 1970s Koch Lowy brass floor lamp. Commonly referred to a Pharmacy or Bankers lamp. The lamp is made of brass with an adjustable telescoping shaft (for vertical height adjustment). Lamp has been disassembled for shipping and is being sold "as is", hence the condition as "parts or not working". Prior to disassembling, lamp turned on as you can see in the pics. Triangular shade/bulb housing was attached but was loose and will need some handy work to properly fasten without drooping. Looks like the base of the socket has separated from the threads attached to the arm shaft which would have kept the shade horizontally supported. Buyer will need to tighten it up after it's reassembled. The lamp has some scratches, wear and oxidation spots to the brass plating. The base has a a couple shallow dings as well. See pics/item description for details. Dimensions approximately 44.5” tall when fully extended. About 35” when fully lowered. Vertical shaft extended out to edge of shade: approx 15” Base is 6” x 9.25” rectangular x 1” high. Shade is 6” long x 5” wide. Again, lamp did work and see pics for appearance with loose/droopy shade before I disassembled for shipping. Price reflects current condition. Perfect examples sell for $275+. It will weigh about 14-15 lbs packed in a 29" x 16" x 8" box. Local pickup near Boston more than welcome. Thank you!
