Description: Kalo Shop Hammered Porringer Baby Bowl Sterling Silver 1920 Mono Arts & Crafts American sterling silver hand wrought porringer or baby feeding bowl by the Kalo Shop silversmiths of Chicago, c. 1920. It has hammered finish and figural keyhole pierced handle. On the side, there is an engraved inscription "Jane Playford". Marked 97. This strikingly handsome porringer is 6 3/4" across the handle, 5 7/8" in diameter, 2 1/2" deep and weighs 186 grams or 8 ozs. Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
