Description: This is a REALLY NICE two-volume hard cover set, in original slipcover to protect them. The cover has seen some wear, and has a water spot on one corner (see photos) but remains very serviceable, and does its job to keep the books in good shape. The Jane Eyre cover has mildly bumped corners and the front cover has a small wear spot on center-edge, but aside from that, both books are in great shape! This edition features lots of large (and some smaller) woodcut illustrations by Fritz Eichenberg. These are amazing works of art in their own right, There are around a dozen-plus in each volume, and they add greatly to the books. (They add volumes to the volumes?)
