Description: Size: Sheet 77 x 58.5 cm, print image 71 x 47 cm.Condition: Print in excellent condition. This splendid linocut is titled Cromer Beach and numbered 10 of an edition of 100. It is not signed, but I have been in touch with the artist who says it should have been, and it is a proper print form the edition, and the title is definitely his handwriting. In fact James Dodds offered to sign it for me if I visit, and presumably that invitation is open. James Dodds (b.1957) is a British artist whose work is in major galleries throughout the UK.. His paintings and prints are inspired by boats and boat building. After being apprenticed as a shipwright in Maldon, Essex, he studied at Colchester School of Art, Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art.
