Description: This phone was purchased directly from Verizon. It is currently locked to Verizon and must be activated/used on the Verizon network for 60 days. After that, it can be unlocked and used on any carrier. AppleCare+ 2-year extended warranty is included. However the exact details on how much warranty is left is fuzzy. It might be 1 year, or it might be a full 2 years because the phone has never been activated. I haven’t been able to get a straight answer from Apple. The phone was purchased (along with AppleCare+) at this time last year (2023). However, it was never turned on or activated. According to the conversation I had with the Apple Store employee, the coverage doesn’t begin until the phone is activated, but no one was able to put that in writing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Worst case scenario, the phone has full AppleCare+ warranty until October of 2025. Best case, coverage will begin the moment the phone is activated, for a full two years. So potentially until October of 2026.
