However, the watch was left running so the battery did die. I took the watch to my local jeweler who replaced the battery and checked it out. He said the watch was nice and clean, and only needed the battery. Reliable, Swiss 763, quartz movement. Beautiful watch! Stretched out, it measures approx 8-1/8"L. I personally would have to have links taken out before it would fit me. No visible wear or damage to the watch. Still has the clear plastic cover on the back of the case.
